Welcome to element29studio . . . Fired Copper Formed Into Fine Art

No Chemicals, No Torches, Just Hand Fired Copper . . .

We are a Missouri based organization that specializes in creating commissioned fired copper art pieces for the home and office.
“All copper needs is a dynamic flame, one with constantly changing temperatures; the result is distinctive, unpredictable and unique.” The abstract artist behind the inspired vision at element29studio is Hunter Carr. Hunter grew up in North-Central Arkansas and enjoyed watching his father, Philip Carr, tinker with copper creations in the shop. This first generation copper enthusiast created pieces through trial and error, eventually discovering the perfect recipe for stunning color and design. Over the years, Hunter has mastered the methods used to produce exquisite details for a one of a kind finished product and keeps the tradition alive. In 2007, the proverbial baton was passed to Hunter, who initially made pieces on the side then launched a studio to keep up with demand. What started out as intermittent custom orders from acquaintances for tables and counter tops has evolved into a studio creating artwork that is both functional and beautiful.
